Sonic the Hedgehog 10: The Final Fight, Sonic and the 
mystery of the Chaos Emeralds

	Two years have passed since Binx was nearly robotized. 
Herbie says that she will not become a Freedom Fighter 
until Sonic is back in Knothole. As for A.N.T, Robotnik 
erased his memory and crushed him with his bare fists. 
There was only one witness, a strange woman named 
Ummagumma. She said that there were four other young lads 
with him, one looked like a fox, another a walrus, and one 
like a robotized hedgehog. She also has claimed to see 
Sonic with them. Sally asked this strange woman if she had 
known that Sonic was robotized and she replied no. 
	Binx and Knuckles know that time is running out. If 
the Chaos Emeralds are out there, they are hidden well. An 
ancient legend says that after the 14th year of hibernation 
the emeralds will loose their power. As the 14th year 
slowly comes to an end, Binx knows they have to move faster 
if they want to try to kill Robotnik. And now, the final 
fight.

	"I really think that Ummagoomma or whatever her name 
is has something to do with this whole scenario." Knuckles 
said. Binx was in the shower. He was waiting on her bed.
	"It's Ummagumma." Cowacart said from across the room. 
She was playing Binx's Genesis.
	"Sorry, man. Don't get smart." Knuckles replied.
	"Look. I am really far in Mortal Kombat II so please 
be quiet." Cowacart said, not looking up from her game.
	Herbie walked over to Knuckles and sat down. "Cowacart 
can be so rude sometimes."
	"I heard that!" Cowacart said, getting angry.
	"So, Herbie, what do think about the whole Umma-dude 
issue?" Knuckles asked.	
	"She's pure Robotnik."
	"Huh?"
	"She's on the bad side. You know."
	"Oh."
	"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! SOMEONE! TURN 
IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!" Binx screamed from the shower.
	Knuckles ran into the bathroom. "Oh my gosh! SHE BEEN 
BURNED!"
	The bathroom was hot and filled with steam. Knuckles 
and Herbie had trouble seeing and breathing. But there was 
something bright red in the bathtub.
	Dear God let it be a towel, Kncukles thought.
	But as the steam cleared, it wasn't a towel. It was 
Binx.

	"But I still don't understand!" Knuckles said, staring 
at Binx in disbelief. "She was fine ten minutes ago. Why 
would she make the water so hot?"
	 Knuckles and Herbie had carried Binx to Pebbles and 
Binx's friends cabin where the bandages were.Bunny was 
trying to comfort him as Tails bandaged Binx. She looked 
like a mummy.
	"I don't think she did it. When she wakes up we'll 
talk to her."
	"How can she talk?"
	"Nevermind that."
	"We can remove the bandage covering her mouth away." 
Tails said, still working.
	"Knuckles, what's wrong?" Bunny asked him. Knuckles 
clenched his fists and grinded his teeth.
	"SONIC, HE DID IT!"
	Tails stood up and faced Knuckles. "HOW DARE YOU SAY 
THAT MY BUDDY DID IT!"
	"HE AIN'T YOUR BUDDY TAILS! YOU KNOW THAT! HE BETRAYED 
US ALL!"
	"KNUCKLES, YOU-" Knuckles covered Tail's mouth and 
whispered, Don't think about it. Everyone ran into the 
cabin.
	Tails continued. "WHAT KNUCKLES? YOU DON'T WANT ANYONE 
TO KNOW THAT YOU-"
	Bunny slapped both of them across the face. "You two 
are acting like a bunch of children! Stop now!"
	Knuckles looked at Tails and motioned to him and 
everyone else to sit down.
	"What Tails was trying to say was that I used to be 
Robotnik's body guard. Before Binx came back, when Tails 
was little, and," Knuckles said, looking at Bunny, "when 
Bunny was normal, I was against the Freedom Fighters. But 
I'm not any more so don't worry."
	Everyone stared at him with their jaws hanging open.
	"Oh, come on guys! That was ages ago!"
	No one moved. Finally, Binx started to moan.
	"I can't see! Am I blind?" Binx mumbled through the 
bandages. Knuckles ran over and tore the bandages off. Binx 
had a couple of scars but that was all.
	"Tails, she only has a couple of scars!"
	"Hey, what do I know?" Tails told him. Everyone had 
calmed down.
	Binx sat up. "I don't understand what happened."
	"Neither do I. We were going to ask you what 
happened."
	"I really forget everything." Binx got up and 
stetched.
	"That's alright. Just rest."
	"No! We can't! The emeralds-"
	"Don't worry about them."
	"Knuckles, time is running out. Someone knows where 
those emeralds are. It could be anyone, even Ummagumma. But 
we need to start looking. Tomorrow, you, me, Bunny, Herbie, 
Tails, Antoine, and Sally will go out and start looking."

					Chapter 2

	"SONETTE! COME HERE NOW!" Robotnik's voice echoed 
through the command room. 
	Sonette ran in and bowed down to Robotnik. "Yes sire, 
you called."
	"How is my wonderful worker on this fine evening?"
	"Um...fine."
	"And how is our little secret plan going?"
	"Um...fine."
	"IS THAT ALL YOU SAY? I AM NEVER GOING TO COME TO YOU 
FOR INFORMATION!"
	"But sire, you must understand-"
	"UNDERSTAND WHAT?"
	"Who ever is reading this will know our plan if we say 
it out loud."
	"READING WHAT?"
	"This story."
	"OH. OH! I UNDERSTAND! HA HA! WELL, WE ARE JUST GOING 
TO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL IT HAPPENS THEN!"
	"That is correct."
	"I AM SO SMART!"
	"Yes, yes you are." Sonette walked out of the room and 
whispered, 'Sally, where are you?'
	
	"Sally, did you find anything?"
	"Nothing yet Knuckles." 
	Everyone was looking for the chaos emeralds. So far, 
no one had found anything.
	"Let's see if anyone else has."
	Knuckles stood on a big rock. "BINX!"
	Binx yelled back,"Nothing, Knuckles!"
	After everyone had responded, Knuckles stepped off the 
rock. "No one found anything."
	"Oh Knuckles, we'll find something." Sally said, 
walking towards Knuckles and giving him a hug.
	"Sally, we better kiss Knothole goodbye."
	Sally looked up at Knuckles with her eyes gleaming in 
the sun. "Knuckles please don't give up. My mother-" Sally 
was too emotional to go on.
	Knuckles gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Sally, I 
promise you, promise, that before the year is over, your 
mother will be on the good side."
	"Thank you Knuckles."

	"You're very, very welcome."

	"SONIC THE ROBOTIZED HEDGEHOG! GET IN HERE!" Robotnik 
screamed. Sonic ran in.
	"What?"
	"EXCUSE ME?"
	"What, did you burp?"
	"NEVERMIND THAT."
	"Can I go now?"
	"WHEN SHALL WE ATTACK THE PEA-BRAIN FREEDOM FIGHTERS?"
	"Tomorrow."
	"THAT IS NOT TOO EARLY?"
	"Tomorrow night."
	"GREAT!"
	"Yes, great." Sonic walked out of the room and 
whispered, 'Binx, where are you?'

	"Binx, please stop crying."
	"I can't..."
	"We'll find the emeralds." Knuckles and Binx were by 
the lake, waiting for a power ring. 
	"Not just that..."
	"What?"
	"Sonic..."
	Knuckles glupped. "W-What about him?"
	"I wish he was back."
	"Why?"
	Binx stared at Knuckles, a cold look in her eyes. 
"It's not working out between us, Knuckles."
	"Huh?"
	"I still love Sonic."
	"But...why?"
	"Knuckles please..."
	"WHY?"
	"Knuckles..."
	Knuckles grabbed Binx tightly on her shoulders. He 
lifted her off the ground. "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!"	
	Binx managed to wiggle out of his grasp. She slapped 
him. "KNUCKLES WHATEVER YOU DO, WHATEVER YOU SAY IS NOT 
GOING TO MAKE ME CHANGE MY MIND! WE ARE BETTER AS FRIENDS, 
FACE IT." She ran into the woods. Knuckles fell to his 
knees and held his head in his hands. 
	"Binx..."
	"HELLO KNUCKLES." 
	A shadow fell over Knuckles as he looked up to see who 
it was.
	"ROBOTNIK! What do you want?"
	"KNUCKLES, YOU ARE NOT WANTED HERE..."
	"JUST WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?"
	"I COULD USE A FOURTH BODYGUARD..."
	"NO!!!!!"
	"KNUCKLES, EVERYONE HATES YOU..."
	"NO THEY DON'T!!!"
	"AHHHH, SUIT YOURSELF."	Robotnik started to walk into 
the bushes. It was very dark out because it was very late 
at night. As quick as Robotnik had disappeared, he 
reappeared.
	"OH AND KNUCKLES, SEE YOU TOMORROW!"
	"HUH??"
	Robotnik ran off, leaving Knuckles to wonder what he 
was talking about.

					Chapter 3

	"I have to get sleep." Herbie said to Binx. "I have a 
really bad cold."
	"Get plenty of rest, Knuckles."
	"Knuckles? Binx, I'm Herbie."
	"Oh, I'm sorry."
	"Binx, you have to get over it, it's been a week."
	"I know. Where's Sonic? I want him back!"
	"We'll just have to wait."
	Knuckles ran into the room. "Has anyone seen 
Robotnik??"
	"KNUCKLES! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL 
SONIC! I KNEW IT!"
	"Binx, last week, after you left, Robotnik came out 
and told me I would see him the next day. He never showed 
up."
	"SONIC'S COMING HOME! HE'S COMING HO-"
	Loud banging noises came from the outside of the 
cabin. Binx, Herbie, and Knuckles ran outside to see what 
was causing all of the noise. In the clearing by the 
cabins, stood Sonic X and Tails X. They were lighting 
flares.
	"What are they doing that for?" Herbie whispered.
	"I don't know. They aren't just doing that for fun." 
Knuckles said.
	"Let's go find the other Freedom Fighters." Binx 
suggested.
	They ran off in the opposite direction of the two 
metal heads to find Tails, Sally, Bunny, and Antoine.

	"DEFEAT SMELLS SO SWEET, DOESN'T IT SONIC???"
	"Yeah."
	Robotnik and Sonic were walking towards the flares, 
preparing their attack.
	"YEAH?! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT FILTHY WORD IN FRONT OF 
ME!"
	"Yes sir, blah blah blah!"
	"WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE WITH ME. BOY!"
	"Whatcha gonna do?? Fire me?!"
	Robotnik was about to say something but then stopped 
himself. He changed the subject.
	"WE'RE GOING TO KILL THOSE PESKY FREEDOM FIGHTERS!"
	"Can we take Binx?"
	"WHY??!!"
	"No reason."
	Robotnik and Sonic stepped into the clearing and Tails 
X and Sonic X stopped lighting flares. Sonette soon joined 
them as they watched and waited for the Freedom Fighters.

					Chapter 4

	"Guys, prepare yourself, this could be ugly." Binx 
lectured the others. They had gathered the other Freedom 
Fighters. "Since we don't have the emeralds, we're going to 
have to fight Robotnik with our morphs."
	"Binx, I'm still your White Tiger morph." Herbie said.
	Binx held her hand out. "Transfer it back to me."
	Herbie held Binx's hand and screamed,"WHITE TIGER 
TRANSFORM!"
	A bolt of electricity shot through Binx.
	"But Herbie, you won't have an animal to morph into!"
	"Yes I do!"
	"HUH?"
	"GIRAFFE!"
	Herbie turned into a giraffe.
	"Cool!" Antoine said.
	Herbie turned back into her normal self. As they 
appoached the clearing, they noticed no one was there.
	"That's weird. They were just he-"
	"WELCOME KIDDIES TO 'ROBOTNIK'S SCHOOL OF WINNING'! 
UNFORUNATELY, YOU WON'T BE "WINNING" MUCH!"
	Robotnik stepped out of a nearby bush. Binx and the 
others stood across the clearing from him.
	"AS IN MANY OTHER TIMES WE MET, I BROUGHT IN EACH 
LITTLE PERSON FOR YOU TO FIGHT. WELL, TODAY WE HAVE A 
LITTLE SURPRISE FOR YOU!"
	"YOU DON'T SCARE US ROBOTNIK!" Tails said, standing 
next to Knuckles and Binx.
	"SHUT UP PIP SQUEAK! AS I WAS SAYING BEFORE I WAS 
RUDELY INTERRUPTED, IS THAT WE ARE NOT HERE TO HURT YOU, OH 
NO. WE ARE HERE TO KILL YOU!!"
	"CUT TO THE CHASE RO-BUTT-NIK!" Knuckles yelled.
	"YOUR FIRST COMPETITOR IS NONE OTHER THAN...TAILS X!"
	Tails X stepped into the middle of the clearing.
	"I'LL TAKE HIM GUYS!" Tails said, getting ready to 
fight.
	Tails X moved first, spindashing into Tails without 
warning.
	"OW!" Tails got up and noticed he was bleeding.
	"HA HA RUNT!" Tails X screamed at him.
	"TAILS THRASHER*!"
	Tails ran into Tails X and knocked him down. He didn't 
get up. Tails walked over to him and took out a knife.
	"HASTA LA VISTA BABY!" Tails said as he disembled 
Tails X. He then ran back to the others.
	"AH, BUT HE IS ONLY THE BEGINNING! YOUR NEXT 
COMPETITOR IS...SONETTE!"
	Sonette stared at the ground as she walked into the 
middle of the clearing. 
	"I'll take her guys." Sally said.
	"SALLY NO..."
	Sally walked into the clearing and slapped her mom.
	"YOU LET ROBOTNIK TAKE THE EMERALDS OUT OF YOUR HEAD, 
DIDN'T YOU?!"
	"YES SALLY."
	"WHY?!"
	"I CANNOT TELL YOU."
	"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T TELL ME?! I'M YOUR 
DAUGHTER!"
	Sonette pushed Sally to the ground and stood over her. 
Sally noticed there was something shiny in her hand.
	"MOMMY! NOOOOOO!"
	"MY DAUGHTER, PRINCESS SALLY, ONE DAY YOU MUST 
UNDERSTAND THAT ONE PERSON CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH ABUSE..."
	"PLEASE DON'T!"
	"A KNIFE IN THE HEART SHALL MAKE YOU SEE HOW MUCH IT 
HURTS..."
	Sonette raised the knife. Knuckles ran towards her and 
grabbed her hand. 
	"DON'T DO IT SONETTE."
	"AND WHY NOT?!"
	"JUST DON'T!"
	Sonette knew what Knuckles was going to do so she 
walked back to Robotnik. Sally walked over to Bunny who 
protected her.
	"Knuckles, what are you doing?"
	"Just shut up and stay where you are, Sally."
	"SINCE SONETTE IS SO CHICKEN..."
	Sonette leaned over Robotnik and told him what 
Knuckles was planning to do.
	"OH. OH! OKAY THEN! WELL GETTING BACK TO THE SHOW, 
NEXT IS...THE ONE AND ONLY...SONIC."
	"No..." Knuckles was shocked that they would have to 
fight Sonic.
	"I'll get him guys." Binx said.
	Binx walked towards Sonic. They stared at each other 
for several seconds. Sonic leaned over Binx and said,'Play 
along.'
	"ROBOTNIK! BINX JUST SAID SHE WAS GOING TO JOIN US!"
	"NO!" Knuckles ran out and shoved Sonic to the ground. 
He stepped on him.
	"NO ONE MOVE!"
	"Knuckles, this is a joke, right?"
	"SHUT UP SONIC!"
	"Knuckles please..."
	"YOU TOO BINX!"
	Robotnik smiled. "What do you have to tell us 
Knuckles?"
	Knuckles began to speak, still standing on Sonic.
	"I WANT TO START ANOTHER LIFE. THIS LIFE I'M LIVING 
NOW IS...TOO BORING. I NEED TO BE LOVED AND WANTED. i KNOW 
THAT IF I WAS TO STAY WITH THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS I WOULD 
HAVE NONE. SO I HAVE DECIDED THAT I WILL JOIN FORCES WITH 
ROBOTNIK AND TOGETHER WE WILL RULE THE EARTH."
	"No!!!!!!!!!!!" Binx cried.
	Robotnik walked over to Knuckles.
	"Bow down before me, my body guard."
	Knuckles bowed down and punched Robotnik in the 
stomach.
	"WHAT THE-"
	"ROBOTNIK, YOU ARE STILL THE STUPIDEST BEING ON 
EARTH!"
	Knuckles laughed, watching Robotnik stumble right into 
Tails X's mutilated body. Knuckles stepped off of Sonic and 
helped him up. Knuckles whispered,"Sorry, I've gained ten 
pounds." Sonic walked over to the others and they welcomed 
him back.
	"Sonic the braclets..." Binx stared at the rings 
around Sonic's wrists.
	"Someone cut them off!" Sonic yelled.
	Robotnik started to climb to his feet.
	"Hurry!"
	Sonic looked over and saw Robotnik slowly walking over 
to him with an angry look on his face. Bunny saw a sharp 
stick and tried to saw the braclets off.
	"HEDGEHOG..." Robotnik mumbled as he reached Sonic. He 
picked him up by his neck.
	"Too late, hunny. The braclets are GONE!" Sonic raised 
his wrists to show that the braclets were indeed gone.
	"NO! YOU COULDN'T OF-"
	"BUT I DID ROBOTNIK! I'M NOT YOUR PRECIOUS BODYGUARD 
ANY MORE! YOU'RE DEAD!"
	Robotnik walked back to Sonette. He smiled. 	"BUT 
THAT'S WERE YOU'RE WRONG HEDGEHOG. YOU LEAVING HAS ONLY 
MADE ME STRONGER!"
	"HUH?!" Binx exclaimed.
	"FREEDOM FIGHTERS MEET YOUR NEXT OPPONENT, THE 
DREADED, SONIC X."
	Sonic and Binx gasped. If there was one they hated, it 
was Sonic X. Sonic remembered fighting him the year after 
he had found Sally alive. 
	Sonic X stepped into the sunlight and stared at Sonic.
	"Sonic, what are you doing over there?"
	"Sonic X, I've chosen to-" Sonic was about to tell him 
why he was over until Binx elbowed him.	
	"Sonic X, I've chosen to um...," then he 
whispered,"attack them without warning."
	"Oh okay."
	"Sonic X stay right there." Sonic walked over to him 
and told him to turn around. Then Sonic pulled out a wire 
and Sonic X stopped working.
	"NOOOOOOOO!!" Robotnik screamed. "PUT THE SECRET 
WEAPON INTO EFFECT!"
	"SECRET WEAPON?!" the Freedom Fighters screamed.
	Robotnik walked over to Sonic X and fixed his wire. 
Sonic X, and Sonette disappeared into the woods. When they 
returned, they were pulling  something very big. Sonette 
reached over and took off the sheet covering it.
	When the Freedom Fighers saw it, Bunny fainted and 
Binx was speechless.

					Chapter 5

	"Oh my gosh, Sonic..." Binx managed to say.
	It was what they had feared, Binx especially. It was 
the Super Emerald. Robotnik had retrieved all of the 
emeralds(somehow) and had created the Super Emerald. Sonic 
X stepped on it and started to glow yellow. When he stepped 
off, he was no longer his blue-grayish color, he was pure 
gold.
	"NOW, WHO WANTS TO FIGHT THE MASTER?" Sonic X said.
	The Freedom Fighters were in deep trouble. Who was 
going to fight a robot that was much more powerful than all 
of them together?
	"LEOPARD!"
	"WHITE TIGER!"
	"LION!"
	"CHEETAH!"
	"FALCON!"
	"JACK RABBIT!"
	"POLAR BEAR!"
	"GIRAFFE!"
	The Freedom Fighters morph into their animals.
	"Is this supposed to scare me?" Sonic X laughed.
	Binx, as her white tiger morph stepped in front of the 
others.
	"FREEDOM FIGHTERS, COUNT OFF!"
	"TRANSFER LEOPARD: BLACK SKIN!"
	"TRANSER LION: POWERFUL CLAWS!"
	"TRANSER CHEETAH: RUNNING ABILITY!"
	"TRANSER FALCON: WINGS!"
	"TRANSER JACK RABBIT: POWERFUL HIND LEGS!"
	"TRANSER POLAR BEAR: STAND UPRIGHT!"
	"TRANSER GIRAFFE: LONG TONGUE!"
	"POWERS OF ALL OF THE ANIMALS, COME TO ME! MAKE ME 
STRONGER!" Binx yelled as each of the animals traits 
morphed into Binx.
	"Now there's a challenge!" Sonix X said.
	"Prepare to die...Sonic X. This is the final battle."
	"FOR THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS IT IS!" Robotnik hollered.
	Sonic X punched Binx. She fell, but quickly got back 
up. 
	All of the sudden, Sonic X started to sizzle. He 
glowed yellow once again and screamed.
	"I CAN'T MOVE AT ALL!" he said.
	"Binx, you did it! You defeated Sonic X!" Knuckles 
screamed from behind her. She jumped on Sonic X, knocking 
him down, and started clawing him. Sonette tried to 
seperate the two of the but she could not.
	"GET OFF OF HIM, BINX." a voice called from the woods. 
Everyone looked around to see who it was. But, there was no 
one there.
	"I SAID GET OFF OF HIM!" the voice said again. This 
time it was closer than before.
	Binx what the voice said and got off of Sonic X. The 
figure moved into the field.
	"Oh my God!" Sonic said, running to the person.
	"ROTOR!" Bunny yelled.
	"ROTOR IS ON MY SIDE, FREEDOM FIGHTERS!" Robotnik 
screamed.
	"Not any more Robotnik."
	"WHY??"
	"I know where I belong and it ain't with you." Rotor 
said, taking Sonic X apart.
	"SONETTE, KILL HIM!"
	"No."
	"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?"
	"I said no. Are you deaf?"
	"SONETTE, WHY ARE YOU ACTING THIS WAY TO YOUR MASTER? 
IS THERE A WIRE TWISTED IN YOU?"
	Knuckles, Tails, and Rotor had to hold Sonic back. 
"THE ONLY WIRE TWISTED HERE IS THE ONE IN YOUR BRAIN!"
	"NOW HEDGEHOG, WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!"
	"OH SHUT UP!"
	"NOW SONETTE, ANSWER MY QUESTION."
	"Robotnik, first you captured me and robotized me, 
then you took the emeralds out of my head-"
	"NOW WAIT! WHAT WAS I SUPPOSE TO DO WITH THEM?"
	"Not make a super emerald to defeat to Freedom 
Fighters."
	"AND WHY NOT?"
	"Too easy."
	"YES IT IS..."
	"You should run and get the emeralds and destroy them 
before someone gets a hold of them."
	"CLUCKY IS WATCHING THEM."
	"That's what you think."
	Clucky stepped out from behind Robotnik. "Sir, you 
told me to stay with you."
	"I DID?!"
	Sonette started to laugh. "Yes Robotnik, you did."
	"I MUST GET THE EMERALDS!"
	Robotnik ran to the castle. Clucky followed him. The 
Freedom Fighters led by Sonic followed close behind. When 
they reached watching distance of the castle, Sonette 
motioned them to stop.
	"Mom, are you still bad?" Antoine asked.
	"No hunny. I found myself."
	"HUH?!" Sally asked.
	"I mean I don't need Robotnik."
	At that exact moment the castle burst into flames.
	"And neither do you."

					Chapter 6

	Everyone had to cover their ears, the blood-curdling 
screams were so loud. Sonette just stared at the ground.
	"We've lost the emeralds..." Binx said.
	They heard a nosie coming from the valley below them. 
Shanny and the others ran towards them. Binx noticed 
something glowing in their hands. 
	"THE EMERALDS!" Binx screamed.
	"WE GOT THEM!" Shanny yelled for joy.
	Sally and Antoine started to cry. Everyone looked at 
Sonette, who had turned into her normal self. Binx took the 
potion out of her pocket and threw into into the valley 
below. Sonette broke off her braclets and threw them down 
along with Rotor's.
	"Guys, don't call me Sonette. Don't call me Queen 
Sonya. Just call me Mom."
	"Hey sorry guys for all the trouble I've caused. I was 
under a spell." Rotor said.
	Binx turned to Herbie. "Herbie, I'm sorry but we can't 
have everyone on the Freedom Fighters. We all ready have 8 
people."
	"That's okay Binx. I don't want all the pressure."
	Everyone watched the castle, once again, burn to 
ashes.
